A dominant display from Leclerc to take pole position in Azerbaijan.

Piastri and Sainz complete the top three. Perez beats Russell and Verstappen to secure fourth.

Hamilton only seventh ahead of Alonso, Colapinto and Albon.

Sainz is unable to beat him. Can Leclerc improve? 

Who will take pole here then? Leclerc? Sainz? Piastri? 

A massive fan was still in the airbox on Williams' car. Albon has to remove it himself when leaving the pit lane. 

Leclerc, Sainz, Piastri, Russell, Perez, Verstappen, Hamilton, Albon, Colaptino and Alonso.

A 1m41.610s for Leclerc, 0.2s ahead of Sainz. 

Who's taking pole then? 

Bearman, Tsunoda, Gasly, Hulkenberg and Stroll.

He moves into fifth in the Williams. What a lap by the rookie.

Fourth for Russell; only eighth for Hamilton here.

Leclerc splits the two Red Bulls with a great lap. He did lose a good chunk in the final sector though to Verstappen.

A strong lap by Verstappen as he lowers the benchmark to a 1m42.042s, 0.2s ahead of Perez.

Piastri leads the way (on new tyres) with a 1m42.598s, 0.187s ahead of Russell (on used tyres).

The second part of qualifying in Baku is underway. 

Ricciardo, Norris, Bottas, Zhou and Ocon.

What a shock. Norris is out in Q1 in Azerbaijan. Disaster. 

He goes fourth in the Red Bull.

The track is ramping up... Verstappen drops into the bottom five.

Leclerc and Perez think they're safe heading into the final few minutes. 

The track is ramping up as Ricciardo slots into seventh in the RB.

Tsunoda goes a bit better though, setting the fastest middle sector of anyone. He's into fourth. 

He sets a 1m42.775s, 0.4s up on Perez. Mighty effort. 

He improves to a 1m43.213s, 0.3s ahead of Sainz. He's on form here.
